  One of the WORST experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. Came in on a Friday night, and it was fairly busy. Grabbed a small table near the entrance for the two of us. Waited 10 minutes to get drinks (beer and a water). Asked for a bit more time to decide, and was then totally ignored for 30 minutes. Even after setting our menus aside and trying to catch our waiter's attention, the next time we interacted with a server was when we were asked to move tables because they had mistakenly seated someone in place of a reservation. So not only did we wait, but had to watch a disappointed family who had the reservation, wait for 20 minutes to get the table they reserved. Finally we got our order in (a burger and a Caesar salad with chicken). When our order came out, we were wildly underwhelmed. My fiances burger was WAY overcooked and looked like a hockey puck. He was served lettuce pieces to add to his burger that looked more like a salad and basically Lay's Wavy chips. All for $14. Ridiculous. My SALAD was swimming in watered down Caesar dressing, chicken that was unrecognizable, and DISGUSTING. You know, we didn't expect much ordering a burger at an Italian place, but you CANNOT call yourself an Italian restaurant without a halfway decent Caesar salad. At this point we were starving and barely got through our meal. We should have left when we were being ignored. Hands down, the WORST Italian food not only in Freeport, but in Southern Maine. Incredibly disappointing and disgusting. We will never be going back and intend to tell everyone we know to never bother with this place. What a waste of space.

  I visit this place every year and normally I would've given 5 stars. This visit wasn't up with the rest of my visits though. Staff were friendly, fast and helpful. Got tomato bisque and it was WAY too garlicky, very sad that I was literally eating chunks of garlic. Got their special, pork panini with mushrooms and pesto. Although the pesto is supposed to flavor everything the sandwich was a little dry and I ended up asking for some ranch to go with the sandwich. Will of course visit again because the originality and quality of their dishes are high. They renovated recently as well so there's more sitting room for visitors.

  A wonderful dining experience. We had two entrees, a special and a shrimp pasta dish. Excellent staff, food and atmosphere.
